Neuilly sur Seine – September 1st, 2010, Ingenico (Euronext : FR0000125346 - ING), the leading worldwide provider of payment solutions, today announces it has equipped the check-out counters of the German Media Markt and Saturn with new terminals. The modern hybrid i3380 terminals are superior to the former solution not only as regards speed and user friendliness. Fulfilling all TA 7.01 requirements and those that will become necessary with the Europeanization of payments, they also mean future security for Media Markt and Saturn. Roll-out and integration of a total of 3,100 new terminals was completed by end June 2010. Nearly 380 Media Markt and Saturn stores were retrofitted on schedule.
